UNBLOCK AWARDS
UNCHAINED CREATIVITY
In September 2021 we will present art prizes that are just as diverse as the creators in our ID studios. The awards enable the participating artists to a more international outreach and increased attention for their opus. The jury focuses on the evaluation of artistic quality of the submitted works and less on external factors such as age, education, gender or curriculum.
We strive to achieve recognition for the awardees through our art prizes within an integrative process.
JURY / AWARD SELECTION
Participation in the prize selection process is open to all registered artists on view at the UNBLOCK Art Fair 2021. The jury consists of the board of trustees of the fair as well as selected experts and patrons in the respective award processes. The honored artists will be announced at the opening of the fair on September 10, 2021.
NERMA LINSBERGER ART AWARD
Transdisciplinary Visionary
THE AWARD
Nerma Linsberger Art Award will be presented for the first time at the UNBLOCK art fair 2021. The prize reflects the seditious approach of the renowned Viennese architect to art, design, urbanism and the city of the future - corresponding in its fluid understanding of the disciplines to the spirit and the creative patchwork of the ID Studios.
The prize is celebrating progressive approaches with future-building potentials. The intention is to supply the creators with an additional stimuli to pursue and deepen their awarded process.
The awardee will be announced at the opening of the Unblock Art Fair on September 10, 2021 receiving a grant of 1,000 euros. The Nerma Linsberger Art Award is the first art prize ever to be presented with a trophy in a NFT form.
